Definitions
Please note that the information below serves provide a general idea for which application to use. Vendors are typically grouped on the Fairgrounds based on type, usually informed by space and utility needs. If you would like to be placed in a different location (i.e., Midway instead of with other Amusement Vendors or Indoor instead of Outdoor), please use that application. Staff will reach out with any questions or concerns.
Amusement Vendor - Vendors with a pay-to-play type of service, game or experience. Examples include pony rides, virtual reality trailers, mechanical bulls, face painting, etc. Vendors applying with this application are typically larger in size, and the pricing takes that into consideration.
Commercial Vendor - Vendors that are for-profit businesses that are selling items or providing information. Vendors in this category are located outdoors and are typically mixed with Amusement, Nonprofit, and Early Bird vendors.
Early Bird Vendor - Vendors that are for-profit businesses located in Coconino County. They must apply by June 1, 2025 to be considered. Early Bird vendors receive nonprofit vendor pricing.
Food Vendor - Vendors that are preparing food onsite. The Fair may elect to place a food vendor in a non-food area as needed. Vendors not preparing food onsite (i.e., pre-packaged foods) may apply using a different application.
Indoor Vendor - Vendors that would like to be located inside the Commercial Building at the Fair. Advantages include: no need for a tent, little concern for weather, and the building is locked each night at closing.
Midway Vendor - Vendors that are for-profit businesses that are selling items or providing information. The difference between Midway and Commercial is location. Midway vendors pay a higher price to be placed in a premium location with the highest traffic. Space on Midway is limited. Vendors are placed here based on a mix of factors, including, but not limited to, tenure with the Fair, product/service, size of booth, and utility needs.
Nonprofit Vendor - Vendors recognized as tax-exempt organizations by the IRS. Vendors must provide proof of nonprofit status.
