Know Before You Go

Things to Remember

  • Service animals only. Pets are not permitted onto the fairgrounds. Help us with the safety of the fair animals and leave your pets at home. From the ADA Website regarding service animals:

    1. Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability.

    2. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are NOT considered service animals under the ADA because they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task.

    3. Coconino County Fair staff may ask the following questions in situations where it is not obvious that the dog is a service animal:

      • Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?

      • What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?

  • Remember to wash your hands and supervise your child’s handwashing after visiting any animal attractions or animal areas at the fair and before eating or drinking.

  • There are no refunds. The Coconino County Fair performers are included in the cost of admission and subject to change. Promotions and other events are also subject to change. Additionally, the Coconino County Fair is a rain or shine event.

  • Alcoholic beverages may not be brought in or taken out of the Fairgrounds.

  • The Coconino County Fair is a tobacco free environment. Those wishing to smoke at the Fair will be required to use a smoking area located outside of the Fair. CCPR hopes that by initiating a tobacco free event to decrease the exposure of secondhand smoke by fairgoers of all ages, and provide a safe, healthy environment for all.
