Getting to Fort Tuthill County Park
From Flagstaff: Go south on Milton then proceed towards Phoenix on I-17. Take Exit 337 and follow the signs. See below for how to take the FREE shuttle to Fort Tuthill!
From Phoenix: Go north on I-17, take Exit 337, turn left and follow the signs.
From I-40: Go east until Exit 197 then take the I-17 south towards Phoenix. Take Exit 337 and follow the signs.
From the FUTS: Fort Tuthill County Park has approximately 5 miles of trails at the park, but did you know that the FUTS (Flagstaff Urban Trails System) leads right into the park? We have plenty of space to lock your bike and the ride is easy to moderate, plus you’ll save $5 on parking!
The Coconino County Fair takes place at Fort Tuthill County Park, located at 2446 Fort Tuthill Loop, Flagstaff, AZ 86005.
The park is located 3 miles south of Flagstaff. Take I-17, exit 337, or Hwy 89.
FREE Shuttle Service
Coconino County Parks and Recreation is partnering with Mountain Line Bus to offer FREE bus service to the Coconino County Fair. Enjoy a convenient, comfortable, hassle-free way to travel to the Fair, plus save $5 on parking!
South Flagstaff / NAU
The shuttle departs from (Stop 1) the Mountain Line Downtown Connection Center (Phoenix Ave. between Beaver St. & Milton Rd.) and (Stop 2) NAU parking lot (Lot P62) on Pine Knoll Drive on south campus. Additionally, there will be a pickup at the Mountain Line bus stop on Beulah Avenue near Wal-Mart (accessible via Routes 4 and 10) on the way to the Fair, and a drop off at the Red Lobster/Olive Garden bus stop (accessible via Routes 10 and 14) on the way back.
County Fair attendees can board any Mountain Line route for free to connect to the Fair bus by telling the driver they are going to the Coconino County Fair.
The service is offered each day of the Fair, Friday (8/30) through Monday (9/2):
Friday
Bus service begins from the Downtown Connection Center at 4:00 p.m. and runs hourly.
The last bus departs from the fairgrounds at 10:30 p.m., but if riders need to connect to another Mountain Line route at the Downtown Connection Center, please depart the fairgrounds by 9:30 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday
Bus service begins at the Downtown Connection Center at 10:00 a.m. and runs every 20 minutes.
The last bus departs the Fair at 10:50 PM, but if riders need to connect to another Mountain Line route at the Downtown Connection Center, please depart the fair by 7:10 p.m.
Monday:
Bus services begin at the Downtown Connection Center at 10:00 a.m. and runs every 20 minutes.
The last bus departs the Fair at 4:30 p.m.
